bullet  Marriage Notes:

Sarah Graves and Jonathan Wynne were married about 1695 or 1696. Jonathan is the only son of Dr. Thomas and Martha Buttall Wynne, and Sarah is the daughter of Thomas Graves. Jonathan's name appears in a tax list for 1693, and he is
taxed as a person with no real estate; however, his mother, then a widow, owned a 200 acre plantation.

In 1700, Jonathan built a house in Blockley Township, Philadelphia County, on 200 acres of land he inherited from his father. Their descendants were still living there 5 generations laters. The original farm was sold in 1890 and was developed into Philadelphia's beautiful Wynnefield suburb. The house was later remodeled into one of the most beautiful colonial homes in the Philadelphia area, and was still standing in 1923.

Jonathan and Sarah Grave Wynne had 9 children.

Chester County, Pennsylvania, is now Delaware County.  Another possible year for their marriage would be 1696.
