Obituary of Aden Throndson (from Warren Throndson)
Mr. Throndson, 87, died Friday at Olmsted Community Hospital in Rochester where he had been a patient for one day. He was born June 9, 1899, in Rock Dell Township, Olmsted County. He grew up in the Hayfield area, graduating from Hayfield High School in 1918. On Sept. 6, 1921, he married Faye Graves in Hayfield. The couple farmed in rural Hayfield until 1958, when they retired from farming and he went into the trucking business. He retired from that 21 years ago.
Mr. Throndson was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hayfield and a former deacon adn church board member there. He was a substitute mail carrier in the Hayfield area for 50 years, was a 4--H leader for 10 years, and a past-member of the Farmer's Coop Oil Board and other farm organizations. He currently belonged to the Hayfield Senior Citizens. Survivors include his wife; a son, Warren of Rochester; two daughters, Mrs. Gene (Maxine) Unger of Dodge Center and Mrs.Donald (Mary Ann) Shawback of Franklin, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and two siters, Mrs. Gordon (Clara) Grimes of Minneapolis and Mrs. William (Myrtle) Shurson of Mankato. Two brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to noon Monday at Cole-Gust Funeral Home in Hayfield and one hour before the service at the church.

Aden married Faye Edith GRAVES, daughter of Eugene Austin GRAVES and Emma Jane FOX, on 6 Sep 1921 in Hayfield twp., Dodge co., Minnesota.1 (Faye Edith GRAVES was born on 13 Aug 1902 in Peoria, Peoria co., Illinois,5 died on 9 Nov 1987 in Hayfield, Dodge co., Minnesota 5 and was buried on 12 Nov 1987 in Fairview Cemetery, Hayfield, Dodge co., Minnesota 5.)
Wedding Announcement (from Warren Throndson)
The rooms were beautifully and artistically decorated in a color scheme of yellow and white. Immediately after the ceremony a luncheon was served to the guests. Both the young people are graduates of the Hayfield high school and have a host of friends who will extend best wishes for a prosperous married life. They left by automobile for a short trip through the northern part of the state and will be at home to their friends at Hayfield after October first.
