Lydia Adams was born 6 Dec 1787 at St. Johnsbury, Caledonia co., Vermont, to Martin and Mercy (Ryder) Adams, and was the first child born in St. Johnsbury. She married Daniel Buzzell on 25 Mar 1805 in Newport, Orleans co., Vermont. She had two children - a son, Martin Buzzell, was born in 1911 in Boston, Lower Canada, and a daughter, Roena. In 1831, Lydia and her husband came to Romeo, Macomb co., Michigan, where Daniel died, at an unknown date. Lydia died there as well, on 10 Nov. 1872, from "typhoid pneumonia."
